Registration for the 2018 Fall Recreational Baseball season is now open!Updated Thursday August 9, 2018 by Dave Hill.
Registration for the Spring 2019 baseball season is now open for the following Divisions:
Rookie Division (7-8): Combination of kid pitch and coach pitch.
Minor Division (9-10): Full kid pitch with some rule modifications.
Major/60 Division (11-12): Full baseball rules.
Below is the tentative time table for the 2019 spring season:
(January 15th thru March 25th): Registration for the Spring season opens on Tuesday, January 15th and will remain open through Monday, March 25th.
(March 23rd): A skills evaluation session is tentatively planned for March 23rd (Sat). Specific location and times will be communicated once confirmed.
(March 29th): The league draft will be held on March 29th to establish team rosters for each Junior League Division. Each head coach is permitted to designate one pre-draft assistant coach. Beyond that, specific team requests cannot be honored.
(Week of April 1st): Indoor practices will likely start the week of April 1st.
(April 6th & 13th): Field Clean Up Day(s) is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 6th. However, if the fields are not ready due to weather, the back-up date for field clean-up will be Saturday, April 13th. Please mark your calendars.
(Week of April 15th): Team Pictures will be scheduled during the week of April 15th. The specific date, time, and location will be communicated once confirmed.
(April 29th): League games will begin Monday, April 29th.
(May 5th): Opening Day ceremonies are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 5th. This will occur after the season opens due to the timing of Spring Break this year. Team schedules will be established in early April, but each team typically plays a 10-12 game regular season, with 2 games per week from Monday through Saturday. There is also playoff tournament where the kids can compete for the division championship and earn a trophy.
